Hey Victor, just wanted to mention that you ears might have been burning the night before Grey Cup in Toronto. KICK AXE tunes were playing live atop the CN TOWER!!!!!
Just to let you know, Gibson guitars had asked me to put a little supergroup together for a private event for Grey Cup, and I thought it would be fitting to only play Classic Canadian tunes. Having said that, I last minute courted a few guys from the band Hedley (on tour with Bon Jovi right now), and wrestler Chris Jericho on vocals, and we rocked the tower playing a couple killer Canadian sets of tunes which just so happened to include "On The Road To Rock". We felt it was fitting for a great Kick Axe tune since Regina was playing, and of course Kick Axe being one of Chris and my fave bands of all time. Both of us saw the band back in Winnipeg!!!! Anyway, wanted to share the news with you.
We might do the band again for the upcoming Junos this year. If so, we'll have to have you up as a guest. Junos are in Calgary this year. We'll have our people contact your people...LOL.

Used to drop by the Gillstom garage and see you fellas rehearse (at least I think it was the Gillstroms) during the Hobbit days. Steve Hasiak was fronting you back then. You were probably getting ready for a gig at Martin Collegiate. Remember the Beverly Hillbillies music you used to play at a slower speed? Then it was onto bigger gigs like the Paddock and Sahara Nights. That was fun. Thanks for the memories in my formative years.

I didn't realize their CDs were available again,. Fyi, you can get them on www.marquee.com.br ,.. I picked up the first two, had the tapes but hell, had to get the CDs as well. great tunes

Just came across this site. I remember you from one evening in San Francisco area when you were opening at the Cow Palace in Oakland for Quiet Riot..(1986..when we were young...)I remember hanging out with you backstage at the concert then at the hotel.You were a gentleman. I remember a marriage proposal.. ;) Breakfast had George goofing in the parking lot and you playing with my feet and told me they were pretty ,thank god,or else you couldn't hang with me. lol. We were from Nebraska..
We had fun...I remember...This site brought back good memories of the rock days.
