Kick Axe Update #2
Due to overwhelming requests from people wanting to hear more of the new songs, and the fact that the recording is taking longer than expected,a second rough mix from the upcoming album was placed on MP3.COM.

The song 'Rockin Daze', which was inspired by the demise of the band in the mid 80's was added to the MP3.COM site on August 14th. Once again, the fan response seems to be very positive.

'Who Knows Ya' reached #1 position for North America on MP3.COM The demo mix of the new Kick Axe song 'Who Knows Ya' reached the #1 chart position in North America for the classic rock genre on MP3.COM. 'Who Knows Ya' held the #1 spot in Canada for several months before this breakthrough.

During July and August, several online magazines took note of the upcoming Kick-Axe IV release. MelodicRock.com announced the work on new album. A short article entitled "The Return Of Kick Axe" appeared on the Roadie Crew from Brazil. The same titled article appeared on the Interia from Poland. Another article announcing work on new album appeared at www.rock-avenue.de from Germany, as well as additional information at www.djrene.de.
