Kick Axe played it's first live concert in over fifteen years in their original hometown of Regina.

Despite poor weather conditions, several thousand die-hard Kick Axe fans turned out to see the group play. The band played a seventy minute set consisting of songs from all three of their CBS albums from the eighties as well as songs from their new album Kick Axe IV.
The band played loud and proud and reportedly several fans could enjoy the concert from the comfort of their home - it was loud!.
The set consisted of:
Alive and Kickin
Road to Rock
Rockin Daze
Hunger
Welcome to the Club
Consolation
Maneater
Turn to Stone
The Chain
Dreamin About You
Hellraisers
Heavy Metal Shuffle
Encore: Whole Lotta Love

The hometown fans were very enthusiastic and gave the band a roaring ovation after every song.
Gary Langen's powerful voice filled the cool night air as the band out-thundered the prairie storm that had turned their sound check into a nightmare. When the band said goodnight, the audience response was so overwhelming, it seemed the band could have played encores all night.
After the show, the boys did an hour long "meet and greet" with the fans and had a great time signing old memorabilia and answering questions about the new Kick Axe album.
